The Allstate Foundation
Who We Are
The Allstate Foundation brings the relationships, reputation and resources of Allstate to support innovative and lasting solutions that enhance people's well-being and prosperity.
Since 1952, The Allstate Foundation has been dedicated to a straightforward purpose: helping people. We have created practical, proven programs for thousands of individuals and families to help them overcome personal challenges and uncertainties - leading to better, safer lives. The Allstate Foundation supports a range of programs across the nation, in the Chicago area (our backyard) and at the state and local level. In every case, we direct our resources and support toward areas that fulfill our commitment to help protect and prepare people across the nation.
Our core goal is to help Americans realize their hopes and dreams by connecting people through innovative programs that drive social change. In addition to championing a series of long established programs around the nation, we have channeled our focus in two signature program areas to achieve maximum impact:
- Teen Safe Driving Program encourages teens to motivate other teens to be smart drivers and smart passengers to reduce the amount of teen-involved car crashes. We provide programs to educate new drivers and their parents about smart driving habits to help make the roads safer for all.
- Domestic Violence Program helps domestic violence survivors overcome financial abuse. We help empower survivors to lead safer, financially independent lives.
The Allstate Foundation is also dedicated to our employees, offering several grant initiatives to support communities and charitable organizations served by Allstate employees, agents and personal financial representatives.
